2024: Moments that mattered

As we bid farewell to 2024, we reflect on a year marked by significant milestones, community collaborations, and countless moments of joy. Here are the highlights of our impactful year.

Educational Triumphs and Growth

Education remained a cornerstone of our efforts:

All seven children successfully passed their final examinations.

We launched Children’s Monthly Updates, providing a platform for children to express their experiences and concerns, ensuring both their physical and mental well-being.

Sports, Play, and Rewards

To celebrate academic achievements, children enjoyed a fun-filled Futsal Day, promoting teamwork and joy. Additionally, our collaboration with Fun Play Learn brought interactive, play-based workshops, making learning an enjoyable experience for all.

Workshops and Environmental Awareness

Sharmila led a variety of engaging workshops, including sessions on science, self-awareness, and storytelling.
In partnership with the Samaanta Foundation, we held workshops on public speaking and active listening, inspiring creativity and confidence as well as menstruation workshop addressing hygiene, cultural myths, and best practices, empowering participants with valuable knowledge.

Health Initiatives

A health camp, conducted in collaboration with the People Welfare Social Center, provided children with general health check-ups and necessary medicines, ensuring their well-being.

Updates from Samaanta Fellows

This year, our Samaanta Fellows continued to make meaningful impacts in their communities and develop as leaders. From addressing critical social issueslike alcoholism and child marriage to taking on key leadership roles within the foundation, they demonstrated resilience, innovation, and a commitment to creating positive change. These accomplishments highlight their growth as changemakers and the transformative power of education and mentorship.

Meanwhile in Luxembourg…

Cooperation with Ultraschall Collective saw part of their event proceeds donated to our cause.

Our second get-together in June was a great success! With good music, and engaging conversations, we shared our project with the community and connected with supporters.

The 4th Sharing a Mile event brought the community together for a day of fitness, music, and camaraderie.

This year, we launched our annual Christmas Fundraiser and organized two wonderful events in collaboration with Ready and Devi. A heartfelt thank you to both for the great partnership and support! We were also thrilled to introduce our first Winter Merch Drop.
